Obituary of Arnold Wade Phipps

Arnold Wade Phipps Arnold Wade Phipps, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born April 22, 1947 in Buckhannon, a son of the late James Wade and Elaine G. Minchin Phipps. On June 24, 1973 he married Linda Kiverchuk who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Andrew Phipps of Buckhannon; one brother, David Phipps and wife Karen of French Creek, WV; one sister, Elizabeth Roby and husband Alfred of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Phipps was the Owner AW Phipps Builders and was a former elementary and middle school teacher. Friends will be received Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Arnold Phipps to the Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
