Harper, age 70, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. He was born September 23, 1944 in Buckhannon, the son of the late Charles W. and Ruby Alkire Harper. Mr. Harper is survived by his two sons Mike and Chuck. Frank was a lifelong member of the Childers Run Community. He retired from Patriot Coal and prior to that he worked at Moore Business Forms. Mr. Harper was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #598. Frank was an avid football fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Harper loved to bowl and won the Senior State Championship for WV. He was an active member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. Friends will be received Friday, June 26, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. There will be a private graveside service for the family at the Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
