Eva Lea Houdeyshell
Eva Lea Houdeyshell, age71, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at her daughter’s home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born September 13, 1942 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Wesley and Dora Mae Sipe DeMoss. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Perry and fiancé Ricky Teems of Buckhannon; two sons, Samuel Darr and wife Jennifer and John Wesley Darr and wife Sandy all of Valdosta, GA; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; seven brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Houdeyshell was a QSA Nurse for ResCare in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Kara Phillippi officiating. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery in Ten Mile, WV.
