James Phillips James Steveson Phillips James Steveson Phillips, age 54, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his home. He was born May 12, 1961 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Robert Burton and Connie Maxine Beam Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife Bettie Rae Poling on March 25, 2013. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Beckner. He is survived by two daughters, Gerry Beckner Parsons of Hiddenite, NC and Jeani G. See of Old Fields, WV; two grandsons, five granddaughters, two great-grandsons; three brothers, Robert Phillips and wife Trisha of Buckhannon, Brian Scott Phillips of Fairmont, WV and Jeremy Vincent Phillips of Taylorsville, NC; one sister, Pamela Joett McDaniels and husband Billy of Taylorsville and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Phillips was a craftsman. Friends will be received Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
