Obituary of Joseph Lee Hall

untitled2 Joseph Lee Hall Joseph Lee Hall, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his home under the care of People’s Hospice of Clarksburg, WV. He was born August 29, 1924 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Arthur Lee and Cora Lee Gallaher Hall. On April 8, 1950 he married Virginia Ann Miller who preceded him in death on April 29, 2009. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Hall; one half brother, Harry J. Hall; one half sister, Alice Wentz and two sisters, Mary L. White and Evelyn M. Karickhoff. He is survived by one son, Joseph S. Hall and wife Janet K. of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Ellen J. Foster and husband Travis of Barboursville, WV; one grandson, Jacob Scott Hall and wife Elizabeth of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Jackson Foster and one great-granddaughter, Madeleine Hall. Mr. Hall was a Superintendent for LaRosa Fuel Company. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church of Hall, WV and served in the US Navy during WW II.
