untitled2 Richard Lee Hamrick Richard Lee Hamrick, age 61, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at his home. He was born February 23, 1949 in Carlise, PA, a son of the late Benjamin F. and Grace Virginia George Hamrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Daisy Cunningham. He is survived by his former wife, Julia Hamrick of Buckhannon; three sons, David S. Hamrick and wife Amanda of Buckhannon, Jason M. Hamrick of Weston, WV and Christopher J. Hamrick and fiance’ Kristiana Bishop of Jane Lew, WV; one daughter, Jennifer L. Knight of Louisville, OH; his twin brother, Ralph J. Hamrick and wife Nancy A. of Buckhannon, two brothers, Benjamin F. Hamrick and Tawana Linger of Camden, WV, Jesse Doddrell and wife Ann of Bath, PA and a brother in law, Robert Cunningham of Buckhannon; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Hamrick was a construction worker, an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping and horseback riding. He was a Baptist by faith. Friends will be received Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery at Excelsior, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
