Obituary of Betty A. Hyre

untitled1 Betty A. Hyre Betty A. Hyre, age 79 of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born June 15, 1931 in Webster County, WV a daughter of the late Forrest and Laura Wilfong Cutright. On June 7, 1951 she married Herbert Hyre, Jr. of Buckhannon who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Vicki Simmons of Zanesville, OH and Patricia Hyre of Vail, CO; two grandsons, Daniel Patrick Corder and wife Abby of Zanesville, and Jason Todd Corder and wife Alisa of Norwich, OH; one great grandson, Zachery Tanner Corder of Zanesville and two great granddaughters, Emilee Corder of Zanesville and Hayley Corder of Norwich. Mrs. Hyre was a homemaker and a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Monday, January 3, 2011 from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Lowther and the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
