untitled1 Ruth J. Hunt Ruth J. Hunt, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born September 19, 1931 in Raleigh County, WV, a daughter of the late Howard and Roxie Woodby Fearn. On December 20, 1967 she married Robert Loyal Hunt who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Merrilee Ann Hunt of Buckhannon; one son Robert Lee Hunt of Twin Lakes, MI; three brothers, Lloyd Fearn of OH, William Fearn of NC and Ronald Fearn of WV and one sister, Bonnie Wickline of VA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Wickline, Ann Gardener and Margaret Jones. Mrs. Hunt was the personnel director at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Buckhannon, the BPW and the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Macbeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery in Belington, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Foundation for Life, PO Box 96, Natick, MA 01760 or online at www.alsfoundation.org, also First Presbyterian Church of Buckhannon, 10 Locust St., Buckhannon, WV 26201.
