Obituary of Larry L. Pigott

Larry Pigott Larry L. Pigott On March 26, 2015 at approximately 5:45pm Larry Lynn Pigott passed away at Holbrook Nursing Home in Buchannan, West Virginia from a massive stroke. He was 74 years old. Larry was born on May 3, 1940 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and remained in West Virginia all his life. He was the youngest son of Howard and Audrey Pigott and brother, Chester Ray Pigott who are also deceased. Larry was a friendly man and liked by most. He was an avid outdoorsman and was passionate about Coon hunting and his Bluetick Coonhound dogs. Larry was a die-hard fan of West Virginia University sports. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963 and a retired coal miner after 18 years. Larry is survived by his wife Deborah and loving sons Bob and Chet Pigott. A special thanks to the staff at the VA Hospital in Clarksburg, WV and Holbrook Nursing Home in Buchannan, WV. Dad, you will be missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday. March 31, 2015 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 2 PM.
