HornRuth Ruth Eileen Horn Ruth Eileen Horn, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born February 27, 1921 in Middletown, OH, a daughter of the late Samuel Thomas and Effie Current Ballard. On January 24, 1941 she married Robert Million Horn who preceded her in death in June of 1985. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Twine; one brother, Thomas Ballard and one sister, Grace House. She is survived by three sons, Robert Million Horn, Jr. and wife Cherry of KY, Algin Horn of Eaton, OH and Bradley Wayne Horn and wife Joy of TN; five daughters, Cyntha Jane Snyder of Cincinnati, OH, Carol Ann Duffield and husband Douglas of Buckhannon, Grace Roberta Johnson of Buckhannon, Cathy Adams of Franklin, OH and Ruth Randel of Middletown; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several extended family; loving caregivers, Angie Zirkle and Tammy Ryan and a special thank you to Dr. Ali Khan and St. Joseph’s Hospice. Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Eaton, OH where she was very active. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
