Obituary of Billie Hockenberry

HockenberryBillie Billie Rae Hockenberry Billie Rae Hockenberry, age 79, of Clarksburg, WV died Friday, November 14, 2008 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. She was born August 18, 1929 in Wendell, WV, a daughter of the late Granville R. and Donis B. Dean Yokum. On June 5, 1954 she married Willard C. Hockenberry who preceded her in death on May 12, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Robert and Freddie Yokum. She is survived by two sons, John and Ross Hockenberry both of Clarksburg; one sister, Marion L. Andrews of Tennerton, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hockenberry was a homemaker and a member of the Duff Street United Methodist Church in Clarksburg. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 12 Noon until 2 PM the funeral hour with Pastor Holly J. Hoover officiating.
