Obituary of Madie B. Hornbeck

HornbeckMadie Madie B. Hornbeck Madie B. Hornbeck, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at her home. She was born July 13, 1923 at Tallmansville, WV a daughter of the late Lee & Nora Reed Glass. She is survived by her husband Marple C. Hornbeck of Buckhannon; two daughters, Phyllis D. Coyner of Buckhannon and Sue Garman and husband Ron of Alta Loma, CA; two granddaughters, Ammie Garman of Rim Forest, CA and Megan Kimble and husband J.B. of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Jansen Kimble of Buckhannon and one sister, Ocie Schulthies of Jessup, MD. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Glass and wife Edith, Richard Glass and wife Margaret and Ennis Glass and two sisters, Sadie Wentz and husband John and Lottie Glass. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery.
