BennettDorothy Dorothy Bennett Dorothy Moore Bennett, age 87 of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born on June 16, 1919 at Sparrows Point, MD, a daughter of the late John Franklin and Christine Katherine (Karman) Moore. On January 7, 1943 she married Charles F. Bennett Sr. who preceded her in death on April 15, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, John F., Francis T. and Thomas L. Moore and one sister, Mary C. Moore. She is survived by one, son Charles F. Bennett, II and wife Margie of Buckhannon; one grandson, John David Bennett of Newark, OH and one granddaughter Tracy Marie Bennett of Buckhannon. She was a Bookkeeper for Upshur Co. Home Health, and was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and DAV Chapter # 36 Ladies Aux. Friends will be received Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 4-7pm at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30 at the Heavner Cemetery; Buckhannon, with the Rev. Dr. Ellis Conley officiating. Burial will follow at the Heavner Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
