Obituary of Edith Janice Harrison

HarrisonEdith Edith Janice Harrison Edith Janice Harrison, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, October 29, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born June 16, 1939 in Farmville, VA, a daughter of Ida McKinney Lacks of Keysville, VA and the late George Moody Lacks. On December 23, 1956 she married Laco D. Harrison who survives. In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by one son, L. Kelly Harrison and wife Karen of Columbus, OH; three daughters, Terry Chapman and husband Don of Fairmont, WV, Susan Dumas of Cincinnati, OH and Diane Alderman and husband Jim of Crawford, WV; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one brother, George Moody Lacks, Jr. of Keysville. Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker. She was a member of the Buckhannon Lions Club and the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Friends will be received Friday, November 2, 2007 from 4-8 PM at the LDS Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at the LDS Chapel with Bishop Cecil Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park at Tennerton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
