Obituary of Mazie Ruth Haymond

HaymondMazie Mazie Ruth Haymond Mazie Ruth Haymond, age 93, of Rock Cave, WV, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. She was born on October 19, 1913 in Webster County, WV a daughter of the late Lee and Nettie Ann (Hamrick) McCray. On June 19, 1931 she married Arden Haymond who preceded her in death October 2, 1990. Mrs. Haymond is survived by three sons; Robert Haymond and wife Rella of Buckhannon, James Richard Haymond and wife Thelma of Baden, PA, and Raymond Haymond and wife Faye of Orange Park, FL; two daughters, Roberta Baxa of Rochester, PA, and Jenny Carr and husband Wayne of Westerville, OH; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Debbie Baxa, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM Monday, October 1, 2007 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home with the Reverend J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow at the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
