Obituary of Beryl Doris Hall

HallBeryl Beryl Doris Hall Beryl Doris Hall, age 85, of Uniontown, PA and formerly of the Hall Community in WV died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born on July 21, 1921 a daughter of the late Marvin and Bessie Payne Curkendall. On April 3, 1937 she married Dale E. Hall who preceded her in death August 15, 1998. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Hodyas and husband Paul of Uniontown; one son, Larry W. Hall and wife Nancy of Bridgeport, WV; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Simons of Williamsport, OH and six brothers, Deward Curkendall of Painesville, OH, Johan Curkendall of Vienna, WV, Blair Curkendall of Washington, WV, Gary Curkendall of Williamstown, WV, Henry “Ronald” Curkendall of Volga, WV and Max Curkendall of Parkersburg, WV. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry C. Hall; one sister, Mary Smearman; and two brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Curkendall. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Hall, WV and member of the Teter CEO’s. Beryl was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. Friends will be received 6-9 PM Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the funeral home with the Reverend Robert Poling officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethany Cemetery in Hall.
