HoffmanWaugh Waugh H. Hoffman Waugh H. Hoffman, age 86 of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on November 9, 1920, a son of the late Sedrick Lee and Mary Martha Rush Huffman. On June 3, 1947 he married Eva Ruth Booth who preceded him in death October 19, 1999. He is survived by one daughter; Karen Kay Hull and husband Virgil of Buckhannon, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by eleven brothers and two sisters. Mr. Hoffman worked as an autoworker for General Motors and was a member of the Gertrude Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of the United Auto Workers, the Eagles and the Willoughby Moose Lodge, Willoughby , OH. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends will be received 6-9 PM Friday, July 6, 2007 at Poling- St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion and DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
