Evelyn Sue Phillips Visitation Thursday, October 30, 2014 5-8 PM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service Friday, October 31, 2014 11 AM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Burial Laurel Fork Cemetery Evelyn Sue Phillips Evelyn Sue Phillips, age 74, of French Creek, WV died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home. She was born April 4, 1940 in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Evid and Juanita Westfall Miller. On August 17, 1957 she married Darrell Joe Phillips who preceded her in death on June 5, 2003. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tanisha Robinson and one sister Geraldine Fullerton. Surviving are two daughters, Arlene Rose Phillips and Eddie Samples of Rock Cave, WV and Melissa McGee and husband Kenny of French Creek, WV; one son, Randy Joe Phillips of Rock Cave; three grandsons, John Bosley and wife Bev of Buckhannon and Joey and Josh Phillips both of Rock Cave; one granddaughter, Aly McGee of French Creek; two great grandsons, Logan and Hunter Bosley both of Buckhannon; three great granddaughters, Tadem and Raven Bosley and Hannah House all of Buckhannon; two brothers, Eugene and O’Neal Miller both of Hampton, WV and one sister, Mary Rexroad of Hampton. Mrs. Phillips was a cook at WVWC. Friends will be received Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery in French Creek.
