HooverDixie Dixie Pearl Lane Hoover Dixie Pearl Lane Hoover, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born September 14, 1933 in Rock Cave, WV, a daughter of the late Matthew Hale “Coonce” and Bernice B. Hull Lane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lincoln Wilson; one brother, James Lane and one grandson, Donald Edward Rapp. Mrs. Hoover is survived by two sons, William Lincoln Wilson, Jr. and wife Pam and Michael Wayne Hoover and wife Deon, all of Buckhannon; one daughter, Sandra Susette Rapp of Buckhannon; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Dewayne Lane of Frenchton, WV; three sisters, Waunita Wilson of Goshen, WV, Anna Belle Brown of Buckhannon and Mary Brown of Abbott, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hoover was a waitress at Foodland and a member of the Point Pleasant Chapel at Abbott. Friends will be received from 6-9 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lester Boylen and the Rev. Ressie Robison officiating. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Flats Cemetery at Rock Cave.
