Edwin E. "Bud" Hall
Edwin E. “Bud” Hall, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, January 13, 2007 while under the care of Peoples Hospice of Clarksburg. Bud was born September 22, 1927 at Hall, WV, a son of the late Arthur and Aurille Galhier Hall. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patrichia Stump Hall of Buckhannon, whom he married April 18, 1957. Also surviving are three sons, Teddy A. Hall and fiancee, Susan Fallen of Buckhannon, Ricky D. Hall and fiancee, Karla Landry of Titusville, FL, and Rodney A. Hall of Woodstock, Ga.; one daughter, Vickie Jones and husband Blair of Woodstock; two granddaughters, Ashley Hall of Miami, FL and Kallie Jones of Woodstock; three grandsons, Ryan Hall with US Army, Brett Jones of Woodstock, GA., Christopher Hall of Houston, TX; one geat-grandson, Christian Hall of Houston, TX; one brother, Joseph Hall and wife Virginia of Buckhannon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Wentz, Mary White and Evelyn Karickhoff and one brother Harry Hall. Bud served in the US Navy during WW II. He retired from Metropolitan Stevedore Co. in Los Angeles, CA. after 26 years as a Longshoreman. He was a member of Franklin Lodge # 7 AF & AM, El Beckel Shrine of Anaheim, CA, Machinist Union # 1484 Los Angeles and was a member of Betheny Baptist Church at Hall. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, square dancing and spending Saturday morings with his nephew Bob Grill at his garage. As per his request, Bud will be cremated and a memorial will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Center, 5 Florida St. Buckhannon, WV, People’s Hospice, Box 1680 Clarksburg, WV 26202 or Davis Memorial Hospital, Reed & Gorman St. Elkins, WV.
