Sharon L. Grandusky Memorial Service Friday, April 24, 2015 1 PM Harmony Worship Center Elkins, WV Sharon L. Grandusky Sharon L. Grandusky, age 61, of Ellamore, WV died peacefully Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home in Ellamore. She was born April 24, 1953 in Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Glenville and Mildred Cain Lamb. On June 13, 1970 she married Robert Grandusky who survives. Also surviving are one son, Matthew Grandusky and girlfriend Sherry of Elkins; one daughter, Emily Grandusky of Junior, WV; one grandson, Kurtis Grandusky of Belington, WV; two granddaughters, Destiny and Kharma Noel of Junior; one sister, Joyce Nelson and husband Eston of Ellamore; sister-in-law, Mary Weese and husband Benjamin L. of Naples, FL; nephew, Patrick Bodkin and children of Ellamore; niece Heather Harris and husband Kevin and children of Buckhannon, WV and twelve special grandchildren, Brandon Riffle, Zoey Judy, Sadie Herron, Joey Fox, Ahmi, Serenity and Korbin Tackett, Bri, Ash, Caitlyn and TJ Kinder and Alexis Noel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one nephew, Eston Nelson II and mother-in-law, Betty Grandusky. Mrs. Grandusky dedicated her life to her Lord, Jesus Christ. Sharon spent all her years taking care of her family, the sick and wounded and her farm all in the light of the Lord. She served as a member of the Church of Brethren at Harmony Worship Center. Sharon was an avid basket weaver, volunteer at Coalton Elementary School, a member of the Ellamore Fire Department, a registered nurse and a nurse every summer at Camp Galilee. She loved and accepted everyone and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Harmony Worship Center in Elkins with the Rev. Larry Poling and her husband Rev. Robert Grandusky officiating. A Celebration of Life dinner will follow at the Ellamore Fire Department. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
