GowerVivian Vivian Ruth Gower Vivian Ruth Gower, age 85, of Ellamore, WV died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon, WV. She was born September 22, 1929 in Lantz, WV, a daughter of the late Allen Doyle and Amy Gay Williams Gower. She is survived by her brother, Robert Gower and wife Shirley of Ellamore; two nieces Karen White and husband Stan of Buckhannon and Melissa Hinkle and husband Kevin of Morgantown, WV; one nephew, Robert Allen Gower of Ellamore; three great nieces, Amanda McQuaid and Ashley Kump and husband Ricky all of Buckhannon and Keely Hinkle of Morgantown and two great nephews, Cody and Trevor Hinkle both of Morgantown. Ruth attended church all of her life and was a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1 PM the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating.
