untitled3 Visitation Friday, December 6, 2013 5-8 PM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service Saturday, December 6, 2013 2 PM Poling-St. Clar Funeral Home Burial Big Bend Cemetery Lois Gaston Lois Gaston, age 96, of Indian Camp, WV died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC. She was born July 15, 1917 in Indian Camp, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Ethel Hamilton Gould. On August 6, 1945 she married John Franklin Gaston who preceded her in death on January 31, 1965. She is survived by one son, Gilbert Marion Gaston of Lenoir; one granddaughter, Jennifer Cole of Los Angeles, CA; one grandson, John Gaston and wife Tammy of Lenoir; two great granddaughters, Brittany Myra Cole and Amanda Gaston both of Lenoir; four great grandsons, Billy Lee Cole of TN, Nathan Andrew Gunn of Morganton, NC and John Daniel Gaston and Joshua Church both of Lenoir; one sister, Anna Cutright of Rock Cave, WV and one brother, Joe Gould of French Creek, WV. Mrs. Gaston was a seamstress; a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Buckhannon, WV, member of the VFW Ladies Aux. Friends will be received Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Bend Cemetery in Sago, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
