untitled3 Larry Edward “Bub” Garrett Larry Edward “Bub” Garrett, age 64, of Volga, WV died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Broaddus Hospital in Philippi, WV. He was born December 25, 1948 in Peeltree, WV a son of the late James E. and Helen Ruth Nutter Garrett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew, Jamie DeBolt. He is survived by one daughter, Tracie Burr and husband Randell of Volga; six granddaughters, Christine Loudin and fiancé Dustin Claypool of Buckhannon, WV, Bobbie Jo Sharp and husband Jerimiah of OH, Christina Brady and husband Walt of Buckhannon, Tonya Gould and husband Brad, Erica Clark and husband Mark and Rachel Sargent all of French Creek, WV; one grandson, David Burr and wife Breanna of Buckhannon; great grandchildren, Corbin, Cody, Parker, Caden, Jayron, Cameron, Dougie, Hunter, Henry, Levi, Ford, Tristen, Tyson, Alyssa, Trayka, Megyn, Hannah and Brooklyn; one sister, Ruth DeBolt and husband Jim of OK; two nieces, Wendy Fordyce and fiancé Dirk Streater and Jennifer Taylor and husband Trevor all of OK; three great nephews, Tyler and Justin Fordyce and Chase Taylor; one great niece, Alexus Taylor and a special friend, Mike Fordyce of Glendale, WV. Mr. Garrett was a Journeyman. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He loved his family, golfing, 4 wheeling and fishing. A private family service will be held at a later date.
