Sarah Gould Private Graveside Service Wednesday, March 13, 2013 Sarah Gould Sarah Gould, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at her home. She was born July 3, 1928 in Greenbrier County, WV, a daughter of the late Amos and Mae Susan Sizemore Tharp. On September 21, 1963 she married Gilbert G. Gould who preceded her in death on July 1, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four sisters, Eula Tharp, Carrie Lorentz, Edna Hamrick and Hallie Hawkins and one brother, Oscar Tharp. She is survived by one daughter, Raetta Carder and husband Matthew of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Marena Shipley of Winston-Salem, NC and Ashley Shipley Schlwable and husband Chris of Buckhannon; one grandson, Bradley Shipley of Buckhannon; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Xoë, Sarah, Julius, Tyler and Olivia; one sister, Lucille Brooks of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and a best friend, Dorothy Bowyer of Buckhannon. Mrs. Gould was a homemaker. Burial will be in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
