Margaret Payne Visitation Sunday, May 25, 2014 1-2 PM Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service Sunday, May 25, 2014 2 PM Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home Burial Bethel Cemetery (Audra) Margaret Esther “Peg” Payne Margaret Esther “Peg” Payne, age 67, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her home. She was born December 2, 1946 in Barbour County, WV, a daughter of the late Atha Thomas and Agnes Clara Smith Haddix. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Maurice Haddix. She is survived by three sisters, Joann Bennett of Buckhannon, Jean Long and husband Dale of Gaines, WV and Dorothy McDaniel of Lumberport, WV; five brothers, James Haddix and wife Taresa, Robert Haddix and wife Sylvia, Gerald Haddix and wife Wilma Jean and Thomas Haddix and wife Peggy all of Buckhannon, WV and Randy Haddix and wife Debbie of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Carolyn Benfield of Asheville, NC. Mrs. Payne was a Secretary for the VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Simms officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Audra Park Community. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
