GoodwinVirginia Visitation 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2008 Funeral 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2008 Burial Heavner Cemetery Virginia Mildred Goodwin Virginia Mildred Goodwin, age 92, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarksburg, WV. She was born December 1, 1916 in French Creek, WV, a daughter of the late Ira and Goldie Duncan Jones. On November 3, 1936 she married Ralph Goodwin who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lowell Goodwin and wife Mary Ann of Clarksburg; a granddaughter, Amber Goodwin of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandsons, Scott Goodwin of Bridgeport, WV and Darren Goodwin and wife Maurine of Clarksburg; a great grandson, Tyler Scott Goodwin of Columbia, SC and a sister, Genevieve Taylor of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, David Goodwin; six brothers, Keith, Russell, Noel, Arnold, Burl and Paul Jones and a sister, Mary Jean Elbon. Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Friends will be received 3 to 8 PM Friday, December 5, 2008 at Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Gary Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
