Carmel Cemetery Clarence B. Potts, Jr. Clarence B. Potts, Jr., age 66, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, July 15, 2013 at his home. He was born December 14, 1946 in Swickley, PA, a son of the late Clarence Boyd and Bessie Mae Wilfong Potts. On March 2, 1969 he married Eva M. Kimble who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Darlene White of Buckhannon; one son, Andy Potts and wife Heidi of Buckhannon; five grandsons, Levi, Spencer and Lance White and Hunter and Nathan Potts all of Buckhannon and two granddaughters, Chantel and Larissa White both of Buckhannon. Mr. Potts worked in maintenance for Corhart’s. He was a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church. He also served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, the Marine Corps, League of Elkins and Devil Dogs, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, Washington District VFD and the Draft Horse and Mule Association. The family would like to thank Liz King with the Senior Citizens Center, St. Joseph's Hospice and all family and friends who helped through this time of need. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR PERFUME TO VIEWING AND FUNERAL DUE TO EVA’S COPD AND ASTHMA. Friends will be received Friday, July 19, 2013 from 12 Noon until 2 PM. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brad Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Tallmansville, WV. The Upshur County Honor Guard will provide Military Honors at the graveside.
