Obituary of Veronica Metzgar Farry

Veronica Metzgar Farry Veronica Metzgar Farry, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her home. She was born November 28, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Fred and Elsie Morris Metzgar. On May 4, 1963 she married James Farry who survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Dr. Kimberly Farry and husband Glenn Davis of Buckhannon; one son, David Farry of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Danielle Sorentino and husband Mike of Bartonsville, PA and two grandsons, Dakota Davis of Virginia Beach, VA and Dakota Farry of TX. Mrs. Farry was a homemaker and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Poplar Valley. She was also a member of the Brushy Fork C.E.O.S., the Order of the Moose Lodge # 598, the Order of the Amaranth, Inc., the Upshur County Citizens Corps. Council, the Upshur County CERT. She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother and the Stroud Township V.F.D Ladies Aux. A memorial service will be at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
