Obituary of George H. Foster

untitled2 George H. “Buck” Foster George H. “Buck” Foster, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born February 23, 1943 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Samuel Henry Foster and Emajean Lantz Foster Regester. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Carl Foster and step father, Carrel Regester. He is survived by two sons, Darrell Wayne Foster and wife Brittany of Germany and George Washington Foster and wife Joriea of Buckhannon; one step son, Dustin Chickerel of Buckhannon; three step daughters, Barbara Linger and husband Bub of Rock Cave, WV, Tara Chickerel of Clarksburg, WV and Amy Chickerel of Buckhannon; one grandson, Uriah Foster of Germany; six step grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Junior Foster and wife Leona of Kanawha Head, WV; five sisters, Edna Rowan of Buckhannon, Violet A. Dean and husband Randall of Buckhannon, Marlene Gore and husband Donnie of Madison, OH, Myrtle Weese of Akron, OH and Judy Pullin of Conneaut, OH; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Harold Humphrey of Hospice and James Keener both of Buckhannon and Barb Hofer and husband Vernon of Helvetia, WV. Buck was a Christian by faith and worked as a laborer. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
