Obituary of Roger Dale Fortney

untitled1 Roger Dale Fortney Roger Dale Fortney, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born November 30, 1949 in Kesling Mill, WV, a son of the late John Dale and Delores Josephine Wright Fortney. On June 14, 1969 Roger was married to Dorris Renee Williams who survives. Also surviving are a son, Roger Dale Fortney, Jr. of Buckhannon; a step mother, Portia M. Fortney of Buckhannon and three sisters, Shirley Jo Gassnola of Alum Bridge, WV and Alice “Charlene” Malcolm and Sharon Ann Stackpole both of Buckhannon. Roger was a foreman for J B Energy, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and attended Kesling Mill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
