Debra Sue Elmore Debra Sue Elmore Debra Sue Elmore, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born September 26, 1954 in Burnsville, WV, a daughter of the late Ebert C. Heater and Frankie Brown Robinson. On June 23, 1974 she married James Donald Elmore who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Brian Elmore and wife Misti of Tallmansville, WV; two grandsons, Caleb James and Isaac Reed Elmore both of Tallmansville; one brother, Jerry Brown and wife Kathy of Belle, WV; six sisters, Barbara Bragg and husband Paul and Lamona Casto all of Burnsville, Shirley Stalnaker of Warrentown, VA, Hilda Clutter and husband Bruce of Good Hope, WV, Pam Cuppari and husband Jim of Buckhannon and Vicki Davis and husband Jon of Bridgeport, WV; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Poncho. Mrs. Elmore was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Buckhannon. Debra was a long term employee at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for 14 years. Friends will be received Monday, January 12, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Christian Fellowship Church. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the Church with the Rev. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
