untitled2 Anna Virginia Crawford Tenney Ervin Anna Virginia Crawford Tenney Ervin, age 96, of Jane Lew, WV formerly of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Crestview Manor in Jane Lew. She was born April 9, 1915 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lee Nora Snell Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Tenney; second husband, Leon Ervin; one daughter, Betty Lou Tenney; one son, Raymond E. Tenney; one son-in-law Jack Helmick; two sisters, Mary Brown and Berma Kesling and two brothers, Paul and Charles Crites. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Helmick and husband Bobby of Buckhannon and Karen Helmick of Buckhannon; one son, James E. Ervin and wife Vicki of French Creek, WV; five granddaughters, Pam Helmick, Brenda L. Oldaker and husband Jerry, Debra Kay Patterson and husband Jeff and Barbara Helmick and friend Rod all of Buckhannon and Tina Marie Dennis and husband Daniel of St. Mary’s WV; four grandsons, Rex Helmick and wife Debbie of Weston, WV, Terry James Ervin and wife Kelli of Zebulon, NC, Bobby Richard Helmick, II and wife Jenny of Charleston, WV and Christopher Scott Ervin and wife Jennifer of Hodgesville, WV; great-grandsons, Zachary, Brian, Matthew, Christopher, Clinton, Tim and Cameron; great-granddaughters, Whitney, Megan and Sara; great-great-grandsons, Cody Collin, Emanuel and Brayden and great-great-granddaughters, Taghen, Daylen, Bailey and Brynlee. Mrs. Ervin was a homemaker. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
