Obituary of Helen Marie Elmer

ElmeHelen Helen Marie Elmer Helen Marie Elmer, age 78, of Jane Lew, WV died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Rosewood Extended Care in Grafton, WV. She was born November 6, 1928 in Jane Lew, a daughter of the late Warren L. and Ruth Summers Elmer. She is survived by one brother, James E. Elmer and wife Delma of Jane Lew; two nieces, Susan G. Silski and husband Timothy of Fairmont, WV and Linda J. Elmer of Fairmont; two nephews, Warren L. Elmer and wife Rhonda of Elkins, WV and James Christopher (Chris) Elmer and wife Kristen of Bunker Hill, WV and six great nieces and nephews. She taught school for the Lewis County Board of Education for forty-three years. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and the Fairview United Methodist Church at Jane Lew where she played the piano for many years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger McKee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorentz Cemetery at Lorentz, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
