Richard Clinton Rogers Richard Clinton Dowell Richard Clinton Dowell, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. He was born May 17, 1956 in Hackers Creek, WV, a son of the late Page and Lillian Queen Dowell. On January 3, 1987 he married Rebecca Sue Bragg, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda Sue McCauley and husband William of NC and Patsy Cesaro and husband Dustin of Buckhannon; one grandson, Richard Dakota McCauley of NC; one granddaughter, Camilla Faith Snyder of NC; two brothers, Tom Dowell and wife Sheila and Jack Dowell all of Buckhannon; two sisters, Patty Dowell of NV and Cathy Ours and husband John of Ellamore, WV and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Richard Clinton Dowell, Jr.; one brother, William Dowell and one sister, Sylvia Jean Dowell. Mr. Dowell was the owner of C&G Taxi in Buckhannon and a member of the Eagles. As per his request, Mr. Dowell will be cremated. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
