Zachary R. Post
Zachary R. Post, age 24 of Morgantown, WV died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at his home. He was born April 25, 1988 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Randall Post and Dee Campbell Brown and husband Thomas, all of Buckhannon. On September 18, 2010 he married Courtney D. Snider, who survives. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Bob and Peggy Post of Buckhannon; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Susie Campbell of Buckhannon; one aunt, Tami Jo Wilt of Buckhannon and two uncles, Rick Post of Fairmont, WV and Bob Post of Asheville, NC. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janet L. Wilt. He was a correctional officer at USP Hazelton in Preston Co., WV. Zach was a very outgoing, full-of-life person who made the most of every day. He never met a stranger. He was the best, most loving husband that anyone could ask for and also an adoring son and grandson. He was a member of the Gauley River Boys, an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and enjoyed his years of playing football and basketball for BUHS. He also loved music and loved to play his guitar and sing along. Zach was a 2006 graduate of BUHS and a 2010 graduate of Fairmont State University. Friends will be received from 2-8 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Horizons Church in Tennerton. A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Sunday at the church with Pastor Dave Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In Lieu of flowers the family requests friends bring non-perishable items to the visitation or donations be made in Mr. Post memory to Help on Horizon.
