untitled3 Minnie Marjorie Sharp Minnie Marjorie Sharp, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, October 18, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born November 22, 1922 in Swamp Run, WV, a daughter of the late Eddie Earnest and Rachel Oldaker Sothen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Luther Sharp; one son, Calvin Junior Sharp; five brothers, Harry Louis, Gilbert, Norman and Russell Sothen and three sisters, Eva Trussler, Delva Chandler and Darlene Fowler. She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Leoda Stackpole and husband Wayne, Norma Jean Poling and husband William and Mary Ann Sharp all of Buckhannon and twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sharp was a seamstress for Reidbord Brothers. She was a member of the South Buckhannon Mission Church. Friends will be received Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery in Kesling Mill, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
