Gertrude Nancy Suder Quick

Gertrude Nancy Suder Quick, age 89, of Elkins, WV, died Monday, March 4, 2024, at Nella’s at Autumn Healthcare in Elkins. She was born February 12, 1935, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Archie Dellie and Lena Mae Yoakum Suder. On October 2, 1954, she married Burtsil Dane Quick who preceded her in death on February 26, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Harold Quick; one daughter, Linda Quick; three sisters, Etta Suder, Bertha Tenney and Clara Suder and one brother, Paul Suder. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Riggs and husband Jessie of Caledonia, MS; one grandson, Evan Riggs of Caledonia; one granddaughter, Amy Riggs of Caledonia and one brother, Roy Joseph Suder of Norton, OH. Mrs. Quick was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery in Buckhannon.
