Obituary of Roberta Lynn Talbott

Roberta Lynn Talbott, age 67, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, September 28, 2023, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born October 30, 1955, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late David R. and Rosalee V. Cogar Oldaker. She is survived by her companion, Dennis Fisher of Buckhannon; one daughter, Sally Talbott and fiancé Mike Gasser of Blythewood, SC; two sons, Isaac Talbott and companion, Carlene of Buckhannon and Eric Fisher and wife Micah of Clarksburg, WV; four granddaughters, Eva Shay Fisher and Everly Carol Fisher both of Clarksburg and Brooklyn Renee and Blakely Reece Gasser both of Blythewood; one brother, Dave Oldaker and wife Robin of Buckhannon; two nephews, Tyler Robert Oldaker and wife Allison of Morgantown, WV and Quinten Oldaker and wife Darla of Buckhannon and her best friend, Shirley Casto of Buckhannon. Roberta was the Office Manager at Ralston Press in Buckhannon and a member of the  Mt. Herman United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler, going to nationals thirty years straight and a big Mountaineer fan. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
