Mazie M.  England

Mazie M. England, age 76, of Hedgesville, WV, died Thursday, September 14, 2023, at   home with her family after a long battle with MDS. She was born February 16, 1947, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Virgil and Carol Rowan Bailey. On May 28, 1966, she married Ronald James England who preceded her in death on January 20, 2021. She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Miller and husband Bobby and Becky England both of Hedgesville; one granddaughter, Tiffany Coates and husband Travis of Hedgesville; one grandson, Tyler Miller and wife Brandi of Hedgesville; one great-granddaughter, McKinley Coates of Hedgesville; three great-grandsons, Mason Coates, Liam and Lane Miller all of Hedgesville; numerous nieces and nephews; four sisters, Marie Bonner, Alice Deverick and Rita Barnett and husband Dwight all of Buckhannon and Thelma Dietrich of Terra Alta, WV; three brothers, Glen Bailey and wife Kay, Lynn Bailey and wife Jenny and Gary Bailey all of Buckhannon and her grand cats, Cody and Cricket. Mrs. England was a manager for McDonald’s and attended the Full Gospel Church. She likes reading on her Kindle and loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Mrs. England was loved by everyone. Friends will be received Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chad Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle or St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. In honoring Mrs. England wishes she will be cremated following the funeral services.
