Sally Sue Skinner, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, September 11, 2023, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born February 16, 1949, in Bulltown, WV, a daughter of the late Fay and Ruth Cunningham Skinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Cunningham and Pauline Skinner and one brother, Paul Skinner. She is survived by one sister, Linda Jenkins and husband Steve of Lynchburg, VA; special niece, Tammy of Buckhannon; great nieces and great nephews; aunt, Veda Cantrell of Jane Lew, WV and her dogs, Rocky and Shadow. Ms. Skinner was a homemaker. She was a member of the  DAV Ladies Auxiliary, Rebecca Lodge and she enjoyed crocheting and doing crafts. Friends will be received Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 12 Noon until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Todd Syruws officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens in Heaters, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
