untitled3 Steve Rowan Steve Rowan, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born September 16, 1953 in Buckhannon, a son of Mary E. Kelly Rowan of Buckhannon and the late Clarden “Bill” Rowan. On March 3, 1972 he married Sylvia L. Morrison who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one daughter, Chasity Littler and husband Jason of Buckhannon; one son, Steven Wayne Rowan, II and wife Heidi of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Lainey Rowan of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Brandon and Jadon Littler both of Buckhannon; three brothers, Clarden “Buck”, Thomas and George “Pete” Rowan and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rowan was the Owner/Operator of Rowan Construction. Friends will be received Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Spotloe officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Davis Health Systems Foundation Cancer Care Patient Assistance Fund, 801 Harrison Ave. Elkins, WV 26241.
