Obituary of Trecia Jane Lowther

Trecia Jane Lowther, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Aliquippa, PA. She was born April 24, 1949 in Barbour County, WV, a daughter of the late Dennie M. and Elizabeth A. Riffle Canter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters, Eli, Frederick, Jack, Edward, Bill, John, Gale, Gay, Bobbie, Ellen, Gladys, Elma, Jean, and Betty. Surviving are one daughter, Cathy Bumgardner and husband Mike of Alquippa; one son, Frank Lowther and wife Kim of Hodgesville, WV; three grandsons, Richard Cutright and wife Jamie of PA and Brandon and Jeremy Lowther both of Buckhannon; three great-granddaughters, Addyson Cutright of PA, and Tara and Abby Weaver of French Creek, WV; one great-grandson, Adam Weaver of French Creek; one brother, Doc Canter of Buckhannon and one sister, Jote Fitzgerald of Buckhannon. Ms. Lowther was a CNA at Holbrook’s Nursing Home. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville.
