Lucille Gould, 89, died Wednesday, August 31st, at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon. She was born February 22nd, 1927 in Adrian, a daughter of the late Ted & Ella Rowan White. On March 7th, 1948, she married Benjamin Franklin Gould. Together they welcomed a daughter Ginger Iden & husband Robert of Nitro, a son Danny & wife Diana of Adrian. Lucille was a loving Grandmother to Kristi (Jay) Dulaney, Lori (Ryan) Tyree both of Morgantown, Justin Iden of Nitro, and Ashley Gould of Adrian. She was a Great Grandmother to Christopher, Logan, Izsabella and Carson. Lucille is also survived by a brother Ralph Junior White of Adrian, a niece Carla Fisher, nephews Michael Petrice and Jody Petrice. Also Brother-in-law Terry N. Gould and Sister-in-law Mary Ellen Crumrine. Mrs. Gould was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Carolyn Petrice, and a Grandson Franklin L. Gould. Mrs. Gould worked several years at Reidbord sewing factory also working at Adrian Post Office. She was involved in the Political & Electoral process as an Election Poll Worker. Lucille also worked as an Office Aide at French Creek Elementary School and was a Caregiver for Direct Care at the Senior Center. Mrs. Gould loved to travel, Garden and listen to the Preaching of Rev. Wease Day and singing of the members of Sago Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 6th from 11:00 AM until 1:00PM the funeral hour with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
