untitled3 Gladys Ruth “Mills” Grubb Gladys Ruth “Mills” Grubb, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born September 23, 1935 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Ocie Brenice Hibbs Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Grubb; one sister, Nancy Lee Mills and two brothers, Charles E. and Arthur Glen Mills. Surviving are two sons, Gary Allen Mills and Charles LeRoy Grubb, both of Buckhannon; three daughters, Melinda Mills and Patricia Ann Grubb, both of Buckhannon and Joyce Apple of Kingfisher, OK; several grandchildren; five sisters, Wrickey M. Barnett of Akron, OH, Alda Wren Zirkle of Bridgeport, WV, Hettie Hall of Akron, Dora Parkhill of Buckhannon and Dorothy Harper of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Cleston Mills of French Creek, WV and William Robert Mills of Hartville, OH and a niece, Cetrina Marshell Smith of MD. Mrs. Grubb was a homemaker. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday, May 3, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Nebo Church Cemetery in Excelsior, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
