Rodney Paul “Tiger” Tenney, age 59, of French Creek, WV left this earth to be with his son, Dalton Tenney, on May 19, 2026. He was born in Philippi, WV to the late Paul Tenney and Mildred Parsons Tenney, who survives. Left to enjoy his memories are his ex-wife and caregiver, Cathy Tenney of French Creek; sister, Camella Hardinger and husband Ed of Romney, WV; son, Dustin Tenney and wife Shasta of French Creek; sister-in-law,  Valerie Morris of French Creek; one grandson, Dawson Tenney; nieces, Rachael & Caleb Tacy of Tennerton, WV, Alexis Ryan and fiancé Aaron Stull of Bridgeport, WV, Brianna Ryan of French Creek, Janna & Luke Hottle of Pittsburgh, PA and Brianna Hardinger of Pittsburgh. Mr. Tenney was preceded in death by his son Dalton Tenney; daughter-in-law, Katie Hamelton; grandson, Brody Hamelton, and a very special brother, Scott Morris. Rodney worked various jobs ranging from the oil field to lumber mills, where he met his best friend, DJ Rice. Rodney enjoyed riding his Harley and four wheelers and spending time with his friends and family. The family would like to express their gratitude to Mountain Hospice for helping care for Mr. Tenney. The family is honoring his wishes for cremation, and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
