Ronald “Ron” Coleman age 75 of Buckhannon WV passed away peacefully on Nov 19, 2025. He was born in Jacksonville, California on Nov 21, 1948. Ron dedicated his life to the service, a proud and decorated marine. Ron served over 30 years in the explosive ordinance disposal field within the USMC. His career took him and his family around the globe and across the United States his commitment to duty did not end with his military retirement he continues to serve his nation by deploying multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan to assist and give active military combating improve explosive devices (IEDs). He had a lot of awards for her service. Beyond his exceptional service. Ron was a man of passion and principle. He was an avid hunter finding peace and purpose outdoors, a keen motorcyclist who loved the open road. Ron was recently preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, JoAnn who he deeply loved and misses. Ron was a loving father to all children, Dennis, Jamie, Shay, Samantha, Hunter, and there are so many more. He cherished all of them. He adored his 96-year-old mother Dorothy Hardy, and he loved his church family all of them at the Mt. Hermon Church in Buckhannon. He will miss everyone. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Church and a true believer in his faith in God. He was cremated and a graveside service with military honors at bailey ridge cementer where he will be laid to rest with his wife JoAnn. In lieu of Flowers the family would like the contributions to be made to Poling St. Clair Funeral Home to assist in the funereal expenses.
