Dustin Eugene Claypool

Dustin Eugene Claypool, age 36, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 25, 1989, in Buckhannon, a son of Roscoe Claypool, Jr. and the late Lisa Ann Senock Claypool. Dustin is survived by his significant other, Crissy Loudin of Buckhannon; one son, Corbin Claypool of Buckhannon; two sisters, Misty Stark and Tiffany Claypool both of Buckhannon; three nephews, Jayce and Jaxton Stark and Eli Wilt all of Buckhannon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dog, Max. Dustin was an Equipment Manager for Highland Landscaping in Buckhannon. Dustin was the happiest, most kindhearted and selfless man. He brought the best out of anyone he knew, he loved his family and friends with all he had in him. He lived to be outdoors fishing, running his hunting dogs or just adventuring. He will be missed tremendously. Friends will be received Sunday, May 25 from 10AM to 3PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated after the services.
