Edna Karickhoff

Edna Karickhoff, age 91, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, May 19, 2025, at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born April 4, 1934, in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Orville Floyd and Esther Welch Bauserman. On January 26, 1997, she married Kermit Karickhoff who preceded her in death on June 13, 2007. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by  one daughter, Vickie Lynn Bauserman; two sons, Charles Floyd and Ralph Edward Nesbitt; four brothers, James, Joseph, George and Floyd Bauserman and two sisters, Ella Gertrude Zickefoose and Mary Zella Dietry. Surviving are two daughters, Belinda Tinney and husband Jim and Eleanor Sue Duke all of Buckhannon; one son, Randall Craig Nesbitt of CO; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Karickhoff was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church on Hackers Creek Rd. Friends will be received Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Hill Memorial Gardens in Quiet Dell, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
