Theodore Franklin Summers, age 72, of Volga, WV, died Monday, April 14, 2025, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born March 16, 1953, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Roy Clayton Summers, Sr., and Dolly Jessie Humphrey Summers. On June 27, 2020, he married Cathy Churchill-Summers who survives. Also, surviving one daughter, Robin Zickefoose and fiancé David of Clarksburg, WV; two sons, Terry Mellinger and Billy Stum and wife Rebecca all of Elkins, WV; five siblings, Andrew Phillip Summers and wife Anne of Louisville, KY, Helen Summers of Buckhannon, Janet Lough of MD, Vickie Oldaker of Weston, WV and John Summers of Volga; several nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren, Levi Zickefoose of Clarksburg, WV, Gabriel Merriman, Gracelyn Sheets, Ivy Mellinger and Desmond Mellinger all of Buckhannon, Linley, Finley and Novalee all of Elkins, WV and Ashlynn Sheets of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by  five brothers, Basil Humphry, Roy, David, Jerry and Russell Summers and two sisters, Rebecca Flannery and Emma Elizabeth Cutright. Mr. Summers attended The Way of Holiness Church of Buckhannon. In honoring Mr. Summers wishes he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1PM at The Way Of Holness Church.
